Palladium Rifts

Our life, just like on a role-playing game, depends on acquired skills, experience points, reaching new levels and sometimes random bits of fate. Characters that haven’t cross our path in over 10 years all of the sudden knock on your door, and it feels like a time warp trip. I’d been on this adventure in New York City for almost 6 years without visiting my grandparents or my old neighborhood. Over the phone I can only reach them to a point, but my promise is still there, that I will get closer than that, even if just visiting. The temporary goals of this dying year were most of all…. achieved. Fuck 2005. Bless 2006. Here we go again…. let’s kill some dragons.
